A flight of wooden stairs lead from the kitchen diner to the sleeping accommodation on the upper floor which comprises a spacious Master Double bedroom with sloping chalet style ceiling and ample wardrobe space, and a second spacious and well lit Twin single bedroom with two separate beds ideal for guests. A modern bathroom with all the desired sanitary ware as well as a useful washing machine is also provided. The Residence complex offers a wonderful Lake view Swimming pool for you to enjoy as well as resident parking spaces. The centre of the picturesque resort town of Varenna is easily accessible by car and offers visitors with a choice of lake view cafes, many fine Villas and the famous and historical Castello di Vezio; which is situated on the Varenna hillside and which features frequent Falconry displays and medieval re-enactments during the Summer-Autumn time. A picturesque lakeside promenade leads visitors to the romantic and ancient centre of Varenna which features medieval passageways, cobbled Piazzas and ancient Churches. Also there are many delightful restaurants and wine bars to enjoy as well as boutique craft and clothes shops. From Varenna a frequent car and passenger ferry service operates taking visitors to the other ‘Golden triangle’ towns of Bellagio and Menaggio. It is advised that guests staying hire a car for the duration of their stay, to allow for ease of movement from the hillside location into Varenna and further afield if desired. | |||||||||||||||||||||
